Renewable Energy
EcoRES designs, develops, and installs renewable and clean energy technologies that give communities affordable, reliable access to power while cutting reliance on fossil fuels and traditional, polluting technologies.
What this service includes:
- Household and institutional solar installation—design and fitting of rooftop solar systems (as delivered under the ISEES household solar program), sized to household or facility energy needs.
- Improved, fuel-efficient cookstoves—construction of clean cookstoves that cut fuel consumption and indoor air pollution for households and small-scale agro-processors, including work delivered for fishing communities through the Fisheries Commission.
- Renewable energy equipment development and deployment—consultancy on sourcing, designing, and installing systems suited to local conditions.
- Climate change mitigation support—helping communities shift from traditional technologies to sustainable alternatives.
Who it's for: households, fishing and farming communities, NGOs, and district assemblies looking to expand energy access sustainably.
